(People's Daily: Sat, 20 Jan) Jordanian King Abdullah II has said that Jordan is seeking nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, local press reported on Friday.

Remove alternative energy barriers, PSC
(Tallahassee Democrat: Fri, 19 Jan) Environmentalists, researchers and producers of alternative energy supplies today encouraged the Florida Public Service Commission to remove barriers to alternative energy production.

4 Northeast nuclear power plants warned
(AP via Yahoo! News: Thu, 18 Jan) Four Northeast nuclear power plants have been alerted to check for potential safety problems following a failure at a sister plant here that caused a shutdown.
