UPI Poll: Safety of nuclear power (The Washington Times: Fri, 26 Jan) A solid majority of U.S. respondents to a UPI-Zogby International poll said they believe nuclear power is safe. Some 27.5 percent of participants in the poll strongly agreed with the statement that "nuclear power is safe." Another 35.2 percent said they somewhat agree with the statement.
