Nuclear Power Plant To Test Sirens (KETV 7 Omaha: Tue, 28 Aug) OMAHA, Neb. -- The Omaha Public Power District announced it will test its siren alert system at the Fort Calhoun nuclear power plant. All radio-controlled sirens located within a 10-mile radius of the plant will sound for three minutes sometime between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Wednesday morning.
