(Japan Today: Tue, 04 Dec) TOKYO — Sony Corp said Tuesday it will increase its use of renewable energy in an effort to quadruple its global carbon dioxide emissions reduction from fiscal 2006 to 50,000 tons by fiscal 2010. The CO2 reduction attributable to purchases of electricity generated with renewable energy sources totaled 13,000 tons in fiscal 2006, which ended in March 2007.
